Education Plates
Benedictine College
This plate is available to anyone who owns or leases an automobile or truck with a gross weight of 20,000 pounds or less. If the vehicle is currently tagged, the applicant must return their original plate, provide current owner’s registration, and proof of insurance. A Royalty Plate form will need to be filled out at time of transaction.
Cost: A one-time production charge of $45.50 plus title fees, registration fees, personal property tax and $40 donation to Benedictine which will appear annually at time of renewal. In addition, there will be an annual $5 University plate renewal fee.
Emporia State University
This plate is available to anyone who owns or leases an automobile or truck with a gross weight of 20,000 pounds or less. If the vehicle is currently tagged, the applicant must return their original plate, provide current owner’s registration, and proof of insurance. A Royalty Plate form will need to be filled out at time of transaction.
Cost: A one-time production charge of $45.50 plus title fees, registration fees, personal property tax and $35 donation to Emporia State University which will appear annually at time of renewal. In addition, there will be an annual $5 University plate renewal fee.
Fort Hays State University
This plate is available to anyone who owns or leases an automobile or truck with a gross weight of 20,000 pounds or less. If the vehicle is currently tagged, the applicant must return their original plate, provide current owner’s registration, and proof of insurance. A Royalty Plate form will need to be filled out at time of transaction.

Friends University
This plate is available to anyone who owns or leases an automobile or truck with a gross weight of 20,000 pounds or less. If the vehicle is currently tagged, the applicant must return their original plate, provide current owner’s registration, and proof of insurance. A Royalty Plate form will need to be filled out at time of transaction. In addition, there will be an annual $5 University plate renewal fee.

Kansas State University
This plate is available to anyone who owns or leases an automobile, motorcycle or truck with a gross weight of 20,000 pounds or less. If the vehicle is currently tagged, the applicant must return their original plate, provide current owner’s registration, and proof of insurance. A Royalty Plate form will need to be filled out at time of transaction.

Kansas University
