Leavenworth County Solid Waste operates several programs at our Transfer Station. Our facility is open to individuals and businesses, in and out of the county. Being a Transfer Station, we collect your debris in trailers that are transported to a landfill.
Leavenworth County Annual Cleanup - for residents of Leavenworth County
Our many services include:
Trash/Construction Disposal
Household trash and debris, as well as construction/demolition are accepted at our facility.
Brush/Leaves/Mulch/Compost
Tree limbs and bush trimmings are accepted at our facility. We also take leaves/grass clippings from Leavenworth County Residents and Businesses. Our Station has a mulch pile and a compost pile, for residents for personal use, when available.

Recycle Center
We have an area for Leavenworth County residential recycling with available hours the same as our facility hours.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
HHW is accepted from County Residents only, with no fee applied. County businesses can dispose of HHW, for a fee, after submitting an application and receiving approval.
