Leisure and Learning

The Leisure and Learning program offers a variety of activities and classes for the senior citizens of Leavenworth County.  The L&L Program is made up of two components: an educational program and a social program. The educational program offers various classes, presentations, and trips of interest. The social program offers various social events and trips.

Most activities and events are available to seniors age 60 and over; however, some classes may be available to those 50 and over.   The L&L Program encourages individuals to increase their social contacts, provides mental stimulation, and promotes physical well-being for both individuals new to the area, as well as the lifelong Leavenworth County resident.
