It is the mission of the Council on Aging (COA) to provide a variety of services and programs to the senior citizens of Leavenworth County which will ensure their safety, promote their emotional well-being, maintain their nutritional health and preserve their accessibility to community services while they remain in their own homes.
- If you need transportation to a COVID-19 vaccination appointment at the Health Department, we may be able to help. Please give us a call at (913) 684-0778 to schedule a ride. Rides to the Health Department cost $1.00 per round trip.
- It’s TAX TIME! Tax Service is offered free of charge from February 1 – March 31 at the locations below to qualifying seniors. Some income restrictions apply. Please call the Council on Aging at (913) 684-0777 to make your appointment today.
