On Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 the street will be closed between the address of 26801 and 27333 for a replacement of a crossroad culvert. The road will be closed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
T-34 Bridge is NOW OPEN!
Bridge T-34 is located on 219th Street, 0.3 M South of Kissinger Road. The contracted completion date was 10/21/24. Project is 98% complete with seeding work item still remaining. Final walk though is estimated by 11/21/24.
SH-63 Culvert is NOW OPEN!
SH-63 culvert, Golden Rd, 0.04M Southwest of 161st Street. There is temporary striping but the road is open to traffic. Project is 95% complete and the final walk through is anticipated by 11/01/24.

HP-36 Bridge
Beginning Monday 9/9/24 187th Street will be full closure from Jarbalo Road (County Route 10) intersection to a point 0.1-mile south of the Stranger Road/187th Street intersection. Additionally Stranger Road will be closed from the 187th Street to 183rd Street. The closure is due to the replacement of the existing HP-36 Bridge and 187th Street/Stranger Road intersection. Advance notice warning signage will be placed on 187th Street at K-92 Highway and Dempsey Road alerting the public that only local traffic is allowed past each point. Additionally, advance notice warning barricades will be placed on Stranger Road at County Route 5/Tonganoxie Road intersection. No signed detour shall be provided due to the absence of paved road alternate routes in the area.

A-49 Bridge
Public Works announces the closure of 211th Street to Through-Traffic from Dempsey Road to McIntyre Road beginning 6/21/24 and continuing until 11/1/24. Road Closure is required to perform construction of the A-49 Bridge Replacement project located on 211th Street, 0.2-mile north of the Dempsey Road. A detour route will not be published for the project.

*HP-29 and HP-30 Culvert Road Closed Notice*
Beginning Wednesday 8/21/24 Eisenhower Road will be full closure from a point 155’ west of 179th Street/Eisenhower Road Intersection to a point 0.5-mile west of 179th Street/Eisenhower Road Intersection. The closure is due to the replacement of Two (2) Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts identified as HP-29 and HP-30. Advance notice warning barricades will be placed at the Eisenhower Road/County Route 5-Tonganoxie Drive Intersection and the Bauserman Road/Eisenhower Road Intersection alerting the public that only local traffic is allowed past each point. No detour route will be installed due to the absence of paved road alternate routes in the area. No through traffic will be allowed on Eisenhower from Bauserman Road to Route 5/Tonganoxie Road. The road closure is anticipated to continue until January 31, 2025.
