Protection Orders

PROTECTION ORDERS

Persons who seek Protection From Abuse (PFA) or Protection From Stalking, Sexual Assault, or Human Trafficking (PFSSAHT) emergency orders must file a petition with the District Court.

Please use the free, secure Kansas Protection Order Portal (KSPOP) to file a petition online with the District Court for a protection order.  Click here to access KSPOP to find required forms, explore resources, check eligibility, complete a petition, and file for the protection order.

Forms are also available at the Clerk of District Court's office in the Leavenworth Justice Center between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and holidays.

All completed PFA and PFSSAHT petitions may also be filed by fax at 913-684-0492, or in person at the Clerk of District Court’s office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and holidays.
