Community Corrections
COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS ADVISORY BOARDS
Pursuant to K.S.A. #75-5297 and K.S.A. #75-7044, the Leavenworth Community Corrections Advisory Boards were established for the purpose of formulating a comprehensive corrections program plan to increase community public safety. The organization presents recommendations for operating within certain guidelines. The Boards evaluate the success and efficiency of correctional services in terms of cost, balance, changes, and overlap from one service to another. The Boards each consist of at least twelve members and are responsible for yearly updates to the KDOC Comprehensive Plans.

- Quarterly, 3 p.m. Thursdays for the Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board, Next Meeting: June 26th, 2025, in the Justice Center Basement Training Room
